How we handle it
We don't weld a frame and tell you it's safe when it isn't. Some manufacturers explicitly prohibit field welding on a frame rail — those frames have to be replaced or the truck has to come off the road. We know which engines, which model years, and which OEMs allow what. We'll show you the OEM service-bulletin language before we touch the truck if there's any question. For bracket and mount work the standards are simpler: weld it like the OEM made it, paint it, done. Aluminum welding is its own discipline and we treat it that way — the right rod, the right shielding gas, and a clean prep.
Parts & warranty
Steel, stainless, and aluminum filler stock on the truck. Specific OEM-spec brackets sourced through the local parts network or fabricated to spec. Warranty on the weld: if it cracks back at the same joint, we come back and fix it. We don't warranty a weld where the underlying problem is something we recommended replacing.
