What we cover

  • Engine oil + filter change (we use the spec your engine maker calls for)
  • Fuel filters (primary and secondary), coolant filters when fitted
  • Coolant test and top-off; SCA / extended-life additive as required
  • Drive axle and trailer axle lube
  • Brake adjustment check, slack-adjuster service
  • 5th wheel grease and inspection
  • Full visual: lights, mirrors, tires, mudflaps, leaks, hoses, belts
  • Air dryer, governor, and dryer-cartridge schedule tracking
  • DOT-style inspection report written up and emailed

How we handle it

For one-off PMs you call, we book, we show up at your yard or wherever the truck lives, we do the work, we send the invoice and the inspection report. For fleet PMs (5+ trucks) we set up a recurring calendar matched to your mileage cadence — typically 25k miles for over-the-road, more often for vocational. You get one invoice a month, line-itemed by unit number, with the inspection reports attached as PDFs. We track filter PNs and oil specs per unit so you don't get a half-quart of the wrong-spec oil in a Cummins ISX12 because someone grabbed the wrong jug.

Parts & warranty

Filters, oils, and fluids come from quality suppliers — Donaldson, Fleetguard, Baldwin, Wix, Mobil Delvac, Shell Rotella, Detroit Diesel Power Service, depending on what the engine maker spec calls for. We don't substitute up or down on spec. Pricing is line-itemed on the invoice; we don't bury PM parts in a flat "PM package" rate that hides margin.

What does a basic PM cost on a Class 8?
We give you a firm number after we know the engine spec and what filters and oil the truck takes. Most basic PMs land in the $450–$650 range including parts. Fleet PMs on contract come in lower because we're set up for the unit.
Can you do PM at night so my truck stays in service during the day?
Yes. Owner-operators and small fleets often prefer 6 PM–10 PM windows. We accommodate it. After-hours is a modest premium and we tell you the number before we schedule.
Do you track DOT inspection due dates for me?
We can. For fleet customers we keep a per-unit calendar with PM due dates, annual DOT inspection dates, and brake-chamber lifecycle tracking. We email you 30 days before anything is due.
What if you find something broken during PM?
We tell you, with a price, and you decide. We don't auto-add repairs to a PM bill. If it's a safety item we'll explain why it matters.
